The Challenge
Brookfield GIS is the largest Facilities and Asset Management company in Canada and a player on a global scale. They are an innovative and forward-thinking company.
Brookfield was looking for a non-invasive sensing solution with a reporting platform to help support their workplace strategies service offering. They partnered with Spaceology and had the solution installed as a pilot in their Toronto Canada head office. We deployed sensing solutions to the Brookfield client base in the Financial, Communications, Technology and Retail industries (Canada, America, Asia).
The Solution
Spaceology provided a range of solutions to Brookfield including occupancy and environmental sensors, people counting devices, live real-time dashboards and nightly uploads to Brookfield’s data warehouse in addition to, knowledge and technical expertise:
Sensor Technology
Implemented the sensor technology to desks, meeting rooms and collaboration over four floors
Rolling Program
As the sensor devices are easily installed and relocated, Brookfield offer’s their clients a short term measurement option. The sensors are installed for an average 8 week period in key client locations to provide an insight snap shot of their occupancy usage. Once the study is complete the sensors are decommissioned and made available for future projects. They also offer permanent installations as part of their offering.
Data Analysis
Spaceology API data transfer provided Brookfield with the information for their Tableau BI tools to develop their client workplace strategies.
